Manuel Pliem and Bianca Somavilla Winners of the Extreme-Distance at the Salzkammergut Trophy
In the 202-kilometre extreme-distance race, local Manuel Pliem (AUT) from Altausee won with an impressive time of 8 hours, 47 minutes and 20 seconds, finishing 20 minutes ahead of Michael Holland from Lower Austria, who kept up the pace only for the first half of the race. In the 202-kilometre extreme-distance race, local Manuel Pliem (AUT) from Altausee won with an impressive time of 8 hours, 47 minutes and 20 seconds, finishing 20 minutes ahead of Michael Holland from Lower Austria, who kept up the pace only for the first half of the race. In the women's competition, Bianca Somavilla from Tyrol claimed her third victory on the extreme distance, following her wins in 2023 and 2024. She was in the lead right from the start and finished in 11:32:11 hours. Yvonne Kuhnlein from Germany came in second, ahead of local Phila-Moanna Lanner from Bad Ischl.

But it is also a bucket-list experience not to be missed and an atmosphere that every mountain bike fan should experience at least once in their life. Also the routes are among the most scenic Austria has to offer.
However, in the heat of the moment, hardly anyone enjoys the secnery to the full. Not to mention the recreational and swimming opportunities to the left and right along the tracks. Therefore we highly recommend to all our Trophy participants and their companions: just add a few days' vacation explorimg the region in more detail.

Each lodge has three bedrooms, two shared bathrooms, its own sauna, living room with a great couch and a small kitchen, a hallway with wardrobe as well as a storeroom for the bikes.
It's about 20 kilometers away from Goisern respectively Obertraun. For a small fee it is also possible to book a Transfer to the start in Bad Goisern.
