Already more than 4.000 Registrations

On the 52,9 and 114,3 km distances the limit of participants has been reached. Late entries on site for those two distances are not possible anymore!

However on the extreme distance and on the two shorter distances there are still vacant starting positions! Late entries are possible on Friday from 03:00 pm until 09:00 pm and on Saturday up to an hour before each start of the 37,1 and 27,3 km distances.

Camping is possible again from July 14th until July the 21st on the soccer field of SV Bad Goisern.

Gary Fisher will be at the Trophy again!

During the 2007 Salzkammergut Trophy Gary Fisher received a pair of "Goiserer”* as a present which he has not collected yet! Well it's time to pick them up - so on July 18, 2009 he will not only come for another shoe fitting but also try to improve his time on the 110 km course! 2009 will be his last year in the "age group Masters 4”.

Four top bike events are now part of the Rocky Mountain BIKE Marathon Series. New in this series is the "Erzgebirgs-Bike-Marathon" - Germany's oldest marathon. So Germany's "Mountain Bike Mecca" Seiffen is not only the final stage of the Trans Germany but also the finale of one of the most important marathon series in Europe - distributing more than 6.000 Euros prize money next year!

The 12th Salzkammergut Trophy will take place on Saturday the 18th of July 2009. The Junior Trophy and the Muni-DH in Bad Goisern will take place on Sunday July 19, 2009. Since the number of participants virtually exploded in the past two years there will be a limit for the first time in 2009. Registration is possible as of today.
