More than 3000 bikers have already signed up! This means 800 participants more than last year! Since we have not expected such an increase things might not run as smoothly as usual and we would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused by a delay. However in the past two weeks we did everything possible to be prepared for this incredible run on registrations.

Change of Starting Number Distribution!
Racing numbers may be picked up on Friday between 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm and on Saturday as of 7:30 until an hour before each race at the Stephaneum. However the distribution does not take place in the gym but in the various class rooms! (Please note the map)
Those who have registered but the money is not yet on our account will get his starting number at the "Trouble Desk”. In this case the entry fee has to be paid in cash again!

Camping on mattresses
From Friday to Saturday we are going to provide mattresses in the gym of the high school. We only have room for 40 people at the max, please bring your own sleeping bags! There is no pre-booking possible! Check in starting on Friday at 1.00 pm. Registration fee Euro 4,- including tourism fee and cleaning. Check out is at the latest on Saturday at 11:00 am!

Camping Sites
At the Bike Camp on the sports field there is also only limited space. The camping sites in Hallstatt and Obertraun as well as other locations in the Salzkammergut have still free capacity.

Arriving by train:
The train station in Bad Goisern is only 500 meters away from the market place where the race will start and where most of the festivities will take place. > Train schedule


Arriving by car:
From Friday 12:00 am until Saturday midnight the roads in the town center of Bad Goisern are closed for any kind of traffic. Parking spaces are available along the main road Nr 145. Please observe the signs and follow the instructions of the marshals. No parking at any time!

There are additional parking spaces in St. Agatha. All participants and also visitors may use a shuttle service to the center of Bad Goisern free of charge!

No less than the ˝inventor of mountain bike” will award all winners of the courses A and B with the trophies about 9:30 pm! After the tombola DJ Fly will party until midnight!

Happy Hour - 209 Half-liter beer for 1,- Euro!
Those who were not lucky at the tombola but are quick enough may snatch of one of the 209 Zipfer bons and celebrate with Gary and the whole orgaization team!

Until Thursday Bar Belle offers free pasta every evening as long as supply lasts. The bar is right in the town center close by the tourism association. Owner Helmut Tritscher is also participating at the Trophy for the fifth time and due to the anniversary he had this great idea!

After the biker party in the pavilion make sure you party at the Bar Belle until the morning hours. Great music, pasta until 3:00 am, beer and a great selection of soft drinks as well as international cocktails are waiting for the bikers

The Cafe Maislinger in the center of Bad Goisern opens on Saturday at 4:00 am! Especially for participants of the long courses there is also some warm food available!

Those who are still hungry after the winners´ceremony can have dinner at the Cafe Maislinger until 11:00pm at Saturday. On Sunday after the Trophy the coffe shop is open from 7:00 am until 1:00 pm.

Helicopter tours start at Friday at 07:00 pm. On Saturday the first shuttle flights are possible at 09:00 am. For the best spots for visitors as well a map of the course including the passage times please see Trophy Homepage .

For the first time we will tackle the ambitious task of broadcasting the Salzkammergut Trophy live in the
finishing area as well as in the internet. As of 5:00am until 10:00pm more than ten camera teams will
provide constant pictures from the most spectacular spots of the extreme course as well as breath taking
panorama shots from one of the most beautiful areas of Austria. Besides the current race news there are also reports on and interviews with the top bikers on a 50 inch wide screen plasma TV located in the pavilion.

On Friday and Saturday one can see the newest bikes of Gary Fisher in the Expo Area and Gary is also happy to sign some autographs. Numerous exhibitors present their newest bike models at the market place in Bad Goisern. many booths offer a free bike service for all participants. On Friday July 13 the Johnny Rockers are going to be on stage firing up the bikers until late at night - free entrance! Johnny Rockers have great music and entertainment - a program leaving nothing to be desired. So enjoy the Pop & Rock Hits of the past decades as well as great party hits.
